Aasnew Tech operates the mobile application Excel Genius: Learn Formulas (the "Application"). This document explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our Application, as well as the choices you have concerning your data.
1. Information Handling & Local Data
The Application is designed primarily as an offline educational reference and does not require account registration, login credentials, or personal identification details.
A. Microphone Access & Voice Input
- Purpose: Used solely for the optional voice search feature allowing users to search formula names hands-free.
- Processing: Spoken queries are processed transiently through your device's built-in speech recognition framework (Web Speech API / Google Speech Services).
- Data Storage: We do not record, transmit, store, or sell your voice recordings or audio data on external servers.
B. On-Device Storage
- Bookmarks & Preferences: Saved formulas and topic filters are retained locally on your device via standard browser storage (
localStorage).
- Control: This data remains strictly on your device and can be cleared at any time by wiping the Application's storage or cache in your device settings.
2. Third-Party Services & Advertising
The Application integrates third-party software development kits (SDKs) to deliver advertisements, process updates, and maintain platform stability:
- Google Play Services: Used to enable core platform features, automatic distribution, and application maintenance.
- Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process certain information to serve ads, limit frequency, detect fraud, and provide analytics:
- IP Address: Used to determine approximate location (country/city level).
- Identifiers: Mobile Advertising ID (AAID) and vendor/app-set identifiers.
- Interaction Data: Ad views, clicks, and impressions.
- Diagnostics: Performance metrics, crash reports, and system launch times.
All network traffic initiated by third-party SDKs is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS protocols. Users can manage or reset their Advertising ID and opt out of personalized advertising by visiting their Android device settings: Settings > Google > Ads.
3. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Our Application is intended for general audiences (students and working professionals) and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that an underage user has provided personal data through platform channels, please contact us immediately.

Excel Genius: Learn Formulas is an independent educational tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Microsoft Corporation. "Excel" is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation. All product names, function terms, and trademarks are used strictly for educational reference and identification under nominative fair use.
